Hey group!
Here are my discussion questions for this week:
Do you agree that there is no reverse racism or that people of color can't be racist? How could this be changed if the given definition of racism was different? Given definition: racism = prejudice + power
What is one way that you can help re-empower a student who is suffering from internalized racism or what can we do as teachers to "change the soil"? This is based on my assumption that every student has/had power so feel free to disagree.
How does the idea of equity v. equality play out in the gardener tale?
