7/21 Class Reflection

I love the movie "People Like Us" and I can't wait to use it in my high school classroom! This is my third time seeing it and my mouth still falls open at some of the things that "we Americans" say! I think that this film is a great teaching resource for all of us because students are receiving this info from a secondary source. Students may find it easy to react to what we say because they know us and interact with us on a daily basis, but they can't argue with a documentary. This film stirs up interesting conversations and is a great way to get the ball rolling on introducing our students to the injustices of our society.
