Brotherhood TV! Queer Men of Color Discussions

Hey everyone!

I was invited by my friend today to watch an airing of an episode for Brotherhood TV. Essentially, the show is queer men of color discussing issues that are pertinent to the LGBTQ community as well as factors revolving around urban living. A more socially justice driven The View that is much less restrained. Today they were talking about issues such as if people should be drug tested if they are receiving welfare, top and bottom debate - social construction of gay men, as well as the issue of the over-sexualization of gay men. The goal is to raise awareness of the issues around queer men of color and I think it is a valuable tool to gain insight into that community as a teacher.

The website with the episodes is: http://www.brotherhoodtv.com/?page_id=96 . I hope you all can maybe take a peak and at least skim through!

Love and Peace!
Brian
